Volleyball Recap: Keilani Pacheco's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Mission Hills over Mt. Carmel + How To Watch

Mission Hills lost against Mt. Carmel back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Grizzlies came up short against the Sundevils, falling 3-0. The Grizzlies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Mission Hills took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-19, 25-23.

Several Grizzlies players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Keilani Pacheco, who had six digs and two aces. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaelynn Le, who had 11 digs and three assists.

Mission Hills' loss dropped their record down to 20-7. As for Mt. Carmel, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-12.

Looking ahead, Mission Hills will face off against Sage Creek at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Mt. Carmel, after both having extra time off, they and La Costa Canyon will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
