Volleyball Recap: St. Patrick's Takes a Loss

After flying high against Perkins County last Tuesday, St. Patrick came back down to earth. The St. Patrick's Irish came up short against the Lincoln Lutheran Warriors on Saturday, falling 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-18, 25-13.

Cara Roberg paced St. Patrick's offense, picking up six kills. Roberg got some help from Izzy Scholz and her 13 assists. Reese Fleck controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

St. Patrick's defeat dropped their record down to 17-16. As for Lincoln Lutheran, they pushed their record up to 32-3 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home.

St. Patrick's does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Lincoln Lutheran has already played their next game, a 3-0 win against St. Cecilia on the 7th.
