Baseball Recap: Blountstown Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game, Blountstown was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They walked away with a 13-8 win over the Miller County Pirates. This was a revenge game for the Tigers: when they faced off against the Pirates last Thursday, they had to take a 15-3 defeat.

Blountstown got a big performance out of Isaac Roberts, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-6. Another player making a difference was Cole Watson, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-5.

Blountstown's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Miller County, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, Blountstown will head out on the road to take on Maclay at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Miller County, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Seminole County at 6:00 p.m. on February 21st.
