Soccer Recap: Luray Comes Up Short

Luray lost against Strasburg back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bulldogs lost 3-0 to the Rams. Luray have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Luray's loss dropped their record down to 5-8-1. As for Strasburg, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-6 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Luray will face off against Page County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Luray will be up against Page County's rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.85 goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Strasburg, they will take on Clarke County at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Clarke County will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Strasburg surely won't give up without a fight.
