Preview: Klein Cain Hurricanes vs. Tomball Memorial Wildcats
The Klein Cain Hurricanes will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Tomball Memorial Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. Klein Cain will be looking to keep their six-game home win streak alive.
Last Tuesday, Klein Cain was able to grind out a solid win over Tomball, taking the game 60-49. Given Klein Cain's advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 148th, while Tomball is ranked 360th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
John Clark was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 21 points and 14 rebounds. He has been hot recently, having posted nine or more rebounds the last 14 times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Nick Delgado, who scored 13 points along with six rebounds.
Meanwhile, even though Waller scored an imposing 57 points on Tuesday, Tomball Memorial still came out on top. Tomball Memorial walked away with a 64-57 victory over Waller.
Klein Cain has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 16-12 record this season. As for Tomball Memorial, their win bumped their record up to 23-9.
