Fountain Inn extended their winning streak to three on Wednesday, bumping their season record up to 13-7 in the process. They blew past the Wade Hampton Generals 11-5. Considering the Fury have won 11 contests by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Bethany Brown was a standout: she went 2-for-4 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one double. Blakely Stoddard also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.

Fountain Inn was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .500. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their batting average total in four consecutive matchups.

As for Wade Hampton, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-13 record this season. As for they, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-13.

On Wade Hampton's side, Breleigh Betsill made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and got on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of Sydney Placko, who went 1-for-3 with two runs.

As of now, neither Fountain Inn nor Wade Hampton have any future games scheduled.
