Volleyball Recap: Arab Takes a Loss

Arab was the 2-1 winner over Briarwood Christian when they last played one another back in September of 2019, but their luck changed this time around. The Knights took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lions on Saturday.

Layla Hendrix paced Arab's offense, picking up six kills. Hendrix got some help from Millie Lackey and her six assists.

Arab's loss dropped their record down to 20-20. As for Briarwood Christian, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 24-3.

Arab didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Ramsay on the 27th. As for Briarwood Christian, they will square off against Homewood at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Lions are facing the Patriots at the right time seeing as the Patriots are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
