While Valley Head's win against Asbury wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Tigers skirted past the Rams 3-1. The victory continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Rams: they've now won six in a row.

Olivia Harrison was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Lexi Coffman, who went 2-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Olivia Woods, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Valley Head hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They are 4-1 when they post two or more strikeouts.

Valley Head's win bumped their record up to 14-18. As for Asbury, their loss dropped their record down to 4-24.

Coincidentally, Valley Head and Asbury will both be playing Crossville the next time they take the field. The Tigers will head out to face the Lions at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Rams will head out to face them at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
