Gunnison hadn't done well against Olathe recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Gunnison Cowboys breezed past the Olathe Pirates to the tune of 51-20. The Cowboys have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Gunnison to victory, but perhaps none more so than Sienna Gomez, who posted six points and eight boards. Another player making a difference was Yaslin Hernandez, who scored seven points and four steals.

When it comes to explaining why Olathe lost, don't look at Alycia Bollinger. Despite the final result, she put up nine points and three steals.

Gunnison has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season. This is the second loss in a row for Olathe and nudges their season record down to 4-17.
