Baseball Game Preview: Rusk Eagles vs. New Diana Eagles

Rusk will be taking part in a tournament against New Diana at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Friday just wasn't the day for Rusk's offense. They lost 9-0 to Livingston on Friday. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Rusk saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ross Davis, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Meanwhile, New Diana came up short against Gladewater on Saturday and fell 7-4.

Rusk's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for New Diana, their loss dropped their record down to 0-5.
