Basketball Recap: Madeira's Win on Wednesday Extends Winning Streak to 15

It's playoff time, and Madeira had no trouble coming through when it counted. They simply couldn't be stopped on Wednesday as they easily beat the Seven Hills Stingers 59-32. The MUSTANGS/AMAZONS have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 matchups by 22 points or more this season.

The victory (which was Madeira's 15th in a row) raised their record to 19-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.5 points over those games. As for Seven Hills, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-10.

Looking ahead, Madeira will take on Brookville on Saturday. Madeira's defense has only allowed 30 points per game this season, so Brookville's offense will have their work cut out for them. Seven Hills does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
