Volleyball Recap: Northtown Takes a Loss

Northtown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Roosevelt Rough Riders.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-14.

Northtown's defeat dropped their record down to 11-6. As for Roosevelt, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-4-1 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northtown will venture away from home to square off against Holy Trinity at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The last four games the Tigers have played have been within one set, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Roosevelt, they will face off against Amundsen at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Vikings will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Rough Riders surely won't give up without a fight.
