Soccer Recap: Collinsville Picks Up Ninth Consecutive Victory

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Collinsville). They were the clear victor by a 13-1 margin over the Whitesburg Christian Academy Warriors on Friday. It was an even better day for Aaron Herrea as he scored four goals for his team.

The win was the ninth in a row for Collinsville, bringing their record for this year to 10-1-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 47 goals over those nine games. As for Whitesburg Christian Academy, they dropped their record down to 0-3 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Collinsville will host Boaz at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Whitesburg Christian Academy will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Geraldine at 7:00 p.m. on March 20th.
