The Zionsville Eagles are taking a road trip to take on the Westfield Shamrocks at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Zionsville will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

On Monday, Zionsville got the win against Lawrence North by a conclusive 15-2. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won eight games by seven runs or more so far this season.

Liv Reid and Kristin Evers dominated on the mound. Reid pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits, while Evers pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Evers has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season.

At the plate, Zionsville let Tess Bradford and Charli Westerfield run wild. The win continues a trend for the Shamrocks in their matchups with the Huskies: they've now won six in a row.

Chloe Tanner made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Tanner was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with three RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Makayla Watson, who went 3-for-4 with three stolen bases, four runs, and one double. Ava Kainrath was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one home run and three RBI.

Zionsville's record now sits at 13-2. As for Westfield, their record is now 9-5.
