Recap: Dilley Wolves vs. Karnes City Badgers
The Dilley Wolves lost to the Karnes City Badgers back in November of 2022, but the Dilley Wolves didn't allow the Karnes City Badgers the same satisfaction on Saturday. Dilley sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 42-40 victory over Karnes City. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Dilley.
It was another big night for Alex Ayala, who scored 15 points along with nine rebounds. Another player making a difference was Charles Morales, who scored eight points.
Dilley's victory bumped their record up to 5-8. As for Karnes City, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season.
Dilley and Lee Academy of Science & Engineering will face off at 7:30 p.m. on December 12th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Lee Academy of Science & Engineering will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak. As for Karnes City, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Kenedy at 6:30 p.m. Kenedy is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.
