Basketball Recap: Perkins Comes Up Short

Perkins lost against Norwalk two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Perkins Pirates took a 53-36 bruising from the Norwalk Truckers. While losing is never fun, the Pirates can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 273rd, while the Truckers are ranked 18th).

This is the second loss in a row for Perkins and nudges their season record down to 6-10. As for Norwalk, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-1.

Perkins will look to defend their home court on Friday against Sandusky at 7:30 p.m. As for Norwalk, they will take on Clyde at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
