J.P. McCaskey had lost four games straight , but after bumping their record up to 7-10 on Friday that streak is in the rearview. They never let the Reading Red KNights get on the board and left with a 15-0 victory. The Red Tornado might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by ten runs or more this season.

Aleximar Ruiz was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base. That's the most runs she has posted since back in March.

In other batting news, J.P. McCaskey let Alayah Gartman and Lleana Martinez run wild. Gartman went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base, while Martinez went a perfect 3-for-3 with three stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. Those three hits gave Martinez a new career-high. Sanya Mumma was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs and one stolen base.

As for Reading, they dropped their record down to 3-13 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road. The game snapped a strange streak: the last four times these teams have met, it?s been the away team that?s taken home the W.

On Reading's side, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kellyn Paulino, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. J.P. McCaskey will take on Manheim Township at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Reading, they will challenge Exeter Township at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
