Keene Central unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They received a blow on Thursday as they fell 69-51 to the Wells Wells CSD. The Beavers were not able to make up for their loss to the Wells CSD from their previous meeting back in December of 2024.

Wells' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Hunter Passmore led the charge by dropping a triple-double with 17 points, 11 boards, and 12 assists. Another player making a difference was Chase Brooks, who shot 44% from the field on his way to 28 points.
