Basketball Recap: Jyssiah Foster's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Greer over Eastside + How To Watch

Greer was the 71-32 winner over Eastside when they last played one another back in November of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Yellow Jackets fell 61-54 to the Eagles on Tuesday. The Yellow Jackets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Several Yellow Jackets players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jyssiah Foster, who posted 17 points. The contest was Foster's third in a row with at least 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ricky Hood III, who earned 15 points.

Eastside's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brandon Ray, who shot 42% from the field on his way to 19 points. Ray has been hot recently, having posted 18 or more points the last four times he's played. MJ Posey also deserves some recognition as he grabbed his first steal of the season.

Greer's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Eastside, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-1.
