Baseball Recap: Cedar Park Comes Up Short

After flying high against Lockhart on Friday, Cedar Park came back down to earth. The Timberwolves fell just short of the Hendrickson Hawks by a score of 9-8 on Saturday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Timberwolves of the 5-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2017.

Cedar Park's defeat dropped their record down to 8-15. As for Hendrickson, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-16.

Cedar Park didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Glenn on the 15th. As for Hendrickson, they have also already played their next game, an 11-0 win against Pflugerville Connally on the 15th.
