Football Recap: Amarillo FFC Comes Up Short

Amarillo FFC was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were beaten by the Lefors Pirates 62-7.

Amarillo FFC's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Lefors, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Amarillo FFC will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Hedley at 7:00 p.m. on the 17th. As for Lefors, they will challenge Follett at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Pirates will need to watch out since the Panthers have now posted at least 31 points in their last three contests.
