If South Summit was riding high fresh off their 21-5 takedown of Kanab on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The South Summit Wildcats took an 8-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cedar Valley Aviators on Saturday. The Wildcats' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Malia Olson was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run while going 1-for-3. Emma Broadbent was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two RBI.

South Summit's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Cedar Valley, their record now sits at 5-2.
