Volleyball Recap: Midwest Central Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Midwest Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Hartsburg-Emden Stags. If the Raiders were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Stags when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Midwest Central was the model of consistency in the loss, scoring 14 points in every single set they played. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-14.

Midwest Central's loss dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Hartsburg-Emden, they pushed their record up to 18-3 with the win, which was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Midwest Central is taking a road trip to square off against Mt. Pulaski at 7:00 p.m. on the 15th. As for Hartsburg-Emden, they will be taking part in a tournament against Springfield at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
