Basketball Recap: Odessa Comes Up Short

Odessa lost against Frenship back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Odessa Bronchos were outmatched by the Frenship Tigers and fell 74-41. The Bronchos were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 38-17.

Odessa has been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 14-19 record this season. As for Frenship, the win (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 24-7.

Looking ahead, Odessa will head out on the road to take on Midland Legacy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Midland Legacy has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Frenship, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Tigers challenge the Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
