Jay unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They took a 67-59 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Madison Mavericks on Saturday. The Mustangs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Mavericks apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in November of 2024.
