Volleyball Recap: 13 Straight Road Wins for Emmaus

Emmaus faced Nazareth Area in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Hornets put the hurt on the Blue Eagles with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Hornets haven't had any issues with the Blue Eagles recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Emmaus not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Nazareth Area between 13 and 16 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-16, 25-16.

Miles Boulrice paced Emmaus' offense, picking up nine kills. Boulrice got some help from Ben Skekel and his 28 assists. Boulrice was also solid from the service line: he led the team with two aces.

Emmaus pushed their record up to 8-0 with the victory, which was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Nazareth Area, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 6-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Emmaus will take on Northampton at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Konkrete Kids will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Hornets surely won't give up without a fight. As for Nazareth Area, they will square off against Wilson at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
