Basketball Recap: Rock Springs Takes a Loss

Rock Springs had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell just short of the Central Indians by a score of 51-48 on Thursday. The TIGERS haven't had much luck with the Indians recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Despite the loss, Rock Springs still got an impressive performance from Boston James, who went 6-for-13 to rack up 18 points along with five rebounds and three steals. James has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last five times he's played. Another player making a difference was Antonio Cortez, who posted six points in addition to five boards and three steals.

Rock Springs has already played their next matchup, a 55-54 win against East on the 12th. As for Central, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 74-56 victory against Evanston on the 12th.
