Preview: Wasco Tigers vs. Reedley Pirates
The Wasco Tigers will look to defend their home field on Thursday against the Reedley Pirates at 7:00 p.m.
Wasco unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak two weeks ago. They were beaten by Shafter 49-6. Wasco was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-6.
Meanwhile, with a playoff game on the line, Reedley rose to the challenge on Friday. They walked away with a 43-36 win over Delano. This was one game where the offenses had no trouble playing at a high level.
Reedley found their leader in underclassman Will Bacon, who rushed for 130 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries, and also threw for 91 yards and a touchdown on only six passes.
Wasco's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Reedley, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 4-7 record this season.
