It was a good run, but Stryker unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-match winning streak on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Edgerton Bulldogs by a score of 3-2. The Panthers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bulldogs earlier this season, when they won 3-1.

Stryker started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 16-25, 25-20, 26-24, 16-14.

Edgerton can attribute much of their success to Cara Schroeder, who had 15 digs. That's the most digs Schroeder has posted since back in September. Another player making a difference was Aubrey Patrick, who had ten digs and two aces.

Stryker's defeat dropped their record down to 14-8. As for Edgerton, their record is now 13-10.

Stryker does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Edgerton, they have already played their next contest, a 3-2 victory against Edon on the 20th.
