Baseball Recap: Northeast Academy Takes a Loss

If Northeast Academy was feeling good fresh off their 14-6 takedown of Community Christian last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Northeast Academy Eagles came up short against the Columbia Wildcats on Monday, falling 14-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 10-3 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

Northeast Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Columbia, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

While Northeast Academy had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
