Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Rogers). They walked away with a 77-67 victory over the Elk River Elks on Tuesday. The win was familiar territory for the Royals who have now won three contests in a row.

The victory got Rogers back to even at 3-3. As for Elk River, their loss was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-4.

Rogers will head out to face off against Sauk Rapids-Rice at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Rogers has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Elk River, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Buffalo at 8:00 p.m. on December 27th. Buffalo knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matches -- so hopefully Elk River likes a good challenge.
