Attica had lost six games at home dating back to last season, but after bumping their record up to 4-8 on Tuesday that streak is in the rearview. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Byron-Bergen Bees, sneaking past 4-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Blue Devils have posted since April 4th.

As for Byron-Bergen, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 11 of their last 12 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record this season. They have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

For Byron-Bergen's part, Lauren Gartz spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned runs on four hits and racked up nine Ks.

On the hitting side, Byron-Bergen saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lily Stalica, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

As of now, neither Attica nor the Bees have any future games scheduled.
