Recap: Marietta Blue Devils vs. Harrison Hoyas
The Marietta Blue Devils were the 54-51 winner over the Harrison Hoyas when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Marietta fell 61-53 to Harrison on Friday. Marietta has been going strong on the season, but this is now their second loss in a row.
Marietta lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Kayla Day, who scored 21 points along with six steals. Day is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Kyann Senior, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Marietta's loss dropped their record down to 14-6. As for Harrison, their win was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-6.
Marietta will take on Hillgrove at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Harrison, they will head out on the road to take on McEachern at 6:00 a.m. on Tuesday.
