Volleyball Recap: Centennial Picks Up Fifth Consecutive Victory

Centennial waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. Everything went their way against the Everman Bulldogs as they made off with a 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Centennial was: they took every set by at least 16 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-5, 25-4, 25-9.

Lauren Seeton paced Centennial's offense, picking up 15 kills. Seeton got some help from Channing Ward and her 20 assists. Katelyn Seeton controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Centennial's record is now 29-11. As for Everman, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-16-1 record this season.

Centennial and Everman could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. The Spartans will challenge Joshua at 5:30 p.m. on Friday with a big rank disadvantage (203 vs. 90). Meanwhile, Everman (ranked 1055th) will meet Cleburne (ranked 518th) at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
