Van entered their tilt with Lindale on Friday with ten consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with 11. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Lindale Eagles a 9-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Vandals, who have now won six games by six runs or more so far this season.

Van's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.8 runs on average over those games. As for Lindale, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 12-6-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Van will challenge Kemp at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lindale, they will face off against Athens at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
