Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Pittsburg). They put the hurt on the West Chargers with a sharp 9-2 win on Monday. Pittsburg might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by three goals or more this season.

They hit West with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Alyssa Hotze (4), Diana Delgado (2), Mariah Harris (2), and Claire Vacek.

The victory made it two in a row for Pittsburg and bumps their season record up to 8-3. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 17 goals over those two games. As for West, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-8-2.

Looking ahead, Pittsburg will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against McDonald County at 6:00 p.m. As for West, they will square off against De Soto on Wednesday.
