Softball Game Preview: Lehighton Indians vs. Pen Argyl Green Knights

Lehighton is 0-4 against Pen Argyl since March of 2021 but things could change on Thursday. Lehighton will take on Pen Argyl at 4:15 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.

Lehighton is headed into Thursday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their seventh straight game dating back to last season on Tuesday. They fell 13-10 to Wilson Area.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Pen Argyl, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand Jim Thorpe a 10-0 shutout on Tuesday.

Another player making a difference was Grace Weaver, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.

Pen Argyl now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Lehighton, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.
