Softball Recap: Bartram Trail Victorious

Bartram Trail won the last time they faced Ridgeview and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Bartram Trail Bears had just enough and edged out the Ridgeview Panthers 7-6.

Rommeney Patrey spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and three unearned) runs on six hits and racked up 11 Ks. She has been consistent : she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in seven consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Hailey Allen was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing Two bases. while going 2-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Lucie McDonald, who scored a run while going 1-for-4.

Bartram Trail now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Ridgeview, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bartram Trail will host Nease at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Ridgeview, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Atlantic Coast at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Atlantic Coast will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something Ridgeview surely won't give up without a fight.
