Volleyball Recap: Lanesville Extends Winning Streak to Three

Lanesville waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Seven Oaks Classical Firehawks by a score of 2-0.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Lanesville was: they took both sets by at least 11 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-13.

Brooklyn Albers paced Lanesville's offense, picking up 12 kills. Albers got some help from Mallory Kelton and her 19 assists. Albers was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Lanesville's victory bumped their record up to 17-11. As for Seven Oaks Classical, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 12 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season.

Lanesville wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against Oldenburg Academy on the 11th. As for Seven Oaks Classical, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Rising Sun on the 11th.
