Basketball Recap: New Prague Takes a Loss

New Prague was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took an 84-69 bruising from the Byron Bears. While losing is never fun, the Trojans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 289th, while the Bears are ranked 13th).

New Prague's loss dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Byron, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-2.

New Prague has already played their next game (against Waconia), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Byron wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, an 88-68 victory against Lake City on the 4th.
