Sachem East came tearing into Tuesday's contest with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.8 points), and they left with even more momentum. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Patchogue-Medford Raiders 26-24. This was a revenge game for Sachem East: when they faced off against Patchogue-Medford back in April, they had to take a 13-7 loss.

Sachem East pushed their record up to 10-6 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Patchogue-Medford, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 16-1.
