Westmoreland came tearing into Friday's game with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 19 points), and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Watertown Purple Tigers, sneaking past 41-38. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Eagles have posted since January 13th.

Westmoreland's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-9. As for Watertown, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-8.

Looking ahead, Westmoreland will take on York Institute on Monday. York Institute will roll in looking for their 15th straight victory, something Westmoreland surely won't give up without a fight. Watertown does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
