Volleyball Recap: Cimarron-Memorial Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Cimarron-Memorial can now relate to. They fell 3-1 to the Del Sol Dragons on Wednesday. The Spartans were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Dragons earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

Xander Besser was the offensive standout of the match as he had 12 digs. That's the most digs he has posted since back in April.

Cimarron-Memorial has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 21-19 record this season. As for Del Sol, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 18-12.

As of now, neither Cimarron-Memorial nor the Dragons have any future games scheduled.
