Basketball Game Preview: Wilkes Central Eagles vs. West Caldwell Warriors

Wilkes Central is on a six-game streak of home losses dating back to last season, and West Caldwell a seven-game streak of away losses also dating back to last season. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Tuesday. The Wilkes Central Eagles will be playing in front of their home fans against the West Caldwell Warriors at 6:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Wilkes Central is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Bandys on Monday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Eagles were beaten by the Trojans 59-28. The Eagles were down 49-16 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Meanwhile, West Caldwell came up short against South Caldwell last Friday, falling 44-24.

Wilkes Central's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for West Caldwell, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 0-3.
