Bangor and Edward Little are an even 5-5 against one another since May of 2015, but likely not for long. The Rams will face off against the Red Eddies on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Bangor comes in on four and Edward Little on six.

Not much got past Emma Tripp, who gave up just four hits and racked up nine Ks to keep Camden Hills off the board. Tripp has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Bangor saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sophie Lynch, who went 2-for-3 with one run. Victoria Jarnich also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.

Meanwhile, Edward Little faced Brewer in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Red Eddies beat the Witches by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 7-4. The game was the first time the Red Eddies have beaten the Witches on their field since June 8, 2021.

Chloe LeBlanc made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing four innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits. LeBlanc was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one run and one RBI.

In other batting news, Elizabeth Galway was excellent, going 2-for-5 with five RBI. Those five RBI gave her a new career-high.

Edward Little was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .390. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Brewer only posted a batting average of .235.

Bangor pushed their record up to 14-4 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of 3.6 runs across that stretch. As for Edward Little, their victory bumped their record up to 13-6.

Bangor's speedy runners might be the difference in Tuesday's contest. The Rams have been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 2.8 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Edward Little, though, as they've been averaging an even more impressive 1.2 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will Bangor continue to outrun the ball?

Bangor came out on top in a nail-biter against Edward Little in their previous meeting back in May, sneaking past 5-4. Will the Rams repeat their success, or do the Red Eddies have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
