Basketball Recap: Tuesday's Victory Is Knappa's 14th in Last 15 Outings

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Portland Christian, Knappa was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Clatskanie Tigers by a score of 49-42. Given the Loggers' advantage in MaxPreps' Oregon basketball rankings (they are ranked 62nd, while the Tigers are ranked 229th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Knappa is also on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 15 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 17-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.4 points per game. As for Clatskanie, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-14.

Knappa will host Nestucca at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Clatskanie, they will take on Columbia Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
