Patrician Academy put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Jackson Academy Eagles 49-6. The result was nothing new for the Saints, who have now won six contests by 24 points or more so far this season.

Patrician Academy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Remington Faile, who rushed for 98 yards and four touchdowns on only nine carries. Ridge Russell was another key rusher, gaining 146 total yards and a touchdown.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Patrician Academy was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 310 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 309 rushing yards every time they've taken the field this season.

Patrician Academy's win bumped their record up to 9-0. As for Jackson Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 2-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Patrician Academy will face off against Southern Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Saints will need to watch out since the Cougars have now posted at least 31 points in their last four games. As for Jackson Academy, they will square off against Clarke Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles will be up against the Gators' rather soft defense (which has allowed 45.11 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
