Sterling and Hoxie squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Sterling had to settle for second. They had to suffer through a 77-41 loss at the hands of the Hoxie Indians. The Black Bears' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Sterling's loss dropped their record down to 6-16. As for Hoxie, their win bumped their record up to 18-3.

As of now, neither Sterling nor Hoxie have any future games scheduled.
