West Noble and Goshen are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2015, but not for long. The West Noble Chargers will head out on the road to face off against the Goshen RedHawks at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. West Noble has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the game with five straight defeats, while Goshen will come in with three straight wins.

On Saturday, West Noble was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 47-43 to Angola. While losing is never fun, the Chargers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 284th, while the Hornets are ranked 134th).

Westview typically has all the answers at home, but on Friday Goshen proved too difficult a challenge. They came out on top against the Warriors by a score of 51-41.

West Noble better keep an eye on Levi Sawatzky. He was instrumental in Goshen's win, going 6-for-13 to rack up 18 points and three steals. The matchup was Sawatzky's eighth in a row with at least 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Karter Marcum, who dropped a double-double with ten points and ten rebounds.

West Noble's loss dropped their record down to 8-12. As for Goshen, their record now sits at 12-9.

West Noble and Goshen were neck-and-neck in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, but West Noble came up empty-handed after a 45-44 defeat. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Sawatzky, who went 7-for-13 on his way to 21 points.
