Baseball Recap: Central Comes Up Short

Central managed to slip by Brother Rice the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Trail Blazers lost 11-1 to the Warriors on Wednesday. The Trail Blazers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Warriors earlier this season, when they won 5-3.

Central has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-13 record this season. As for Brother Rice, they moved to 12-10-1 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Looking ahead, Central will head out to square off against Henry Ford Academy: School for Creative Studies at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Brother Rice, they will head out on the road to challenge Central Catholic at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
